About 10 km south of Maastricht you find the beautiful and prestigious   resort Meschermolen
This old farmhouse is situated in the buildings belonging to the first watermill on Dutch grounds in the river Voer.East of this castle like resort you will find a small village called Mesch, with a history going back to 10th century.

Until 1920 the farmhouse  was owned by the Belgium nobility.     
From 1920 on the Meschermolen is owned by the  Lippertz family. A second restauration has been compleeted in 1999. Nowdays the Meschermolen accommodates  holiday apartments and conference rooms.
